The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Women’s Club Ultimate Frisbee team recently competed at the conference championships.
No. 7 Wake Forest battled through both No. 13 ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ and No. 16 Davidson to win the Atlantic Coast. ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ gave Wake all it could handle in a final match that never reached more than a three-point margin.
ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ got a huge break and brought it to 11-10 with the hard cap on, but couldn’t force double game point. Wake’s victory gave it the only Atlantic Coast bid to this spring’s national championships.
