For the first time ever, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Women’s Club Volleyball attended the National Collegiate Volleyball Federation National Tournament, which was held April 9-11 in Kansas City, Missouri.
The team included 12 players and was accompanied by its advisor, Assistant Professor Jen Platania. ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ competed in Division II with 38 other teams. After nine matches over three days, the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ team took home first place in the Silver Bracket. Athletes are proud of their accomplishment and all of the hard work it took to get to the tournament — they are hoping to compete at Nationals again in 2016 in Louisville, Kentucky.
