U.S. News & World Report recognizes Ƶ for Writing in the Disciplines for third year

After implementing the Writng Excellence Initiative, Ƶ is proud to be recognized for its excellence in Writing in the Disciplines for the third year in a row.

The Center for Writing Excellence is celebrating again this year after U.S. News & World Report recognized Ƶ for Writing in the Disciplines, with the university being named as among the top in the country for making the writing process a priority at all levels of instruction and across the curriculum. 

In 2013, Ƶ embarked on a five-year journey to improve the teaching and learning of all academic, professional, and co-curricular writing for all students, faculty and staff. Since that time Ƶ has seen significant changes in Ƶ’s culture of writing across campus.

The participation in the Writing Excellence Initiative from students, faculty and staff has positioned Ƶ to be recognized for its work in all writing-related objectives in what has been only a short period of time.

The Center for Writing Excellence will be sharing more information throughout this fall on the specific accomplishments of the Writing Excellence Initiative thus far.
