ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ to test outdoor alarm, emergency alert systems at 10 a.m. TODAY

The test of the outdoor alarm and emergency alert systems by ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Campus Safety and Police will take place at 10 a.m. and will last about three minutes.

Campus Safety and Police will be conducting a test of the outdoor alarm system and the emergency alert systems on Tuesday, March 20, at 10 a.m. The test will last approximately 3 minutes and an all clear will be given at the conclusion of the test. 

During this test, as is the case during a real emergency, the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ community will be notified in the following ways: 

  •     Outdoor siren
  •     E-Alert: text and email message
  •     Digital signage 
  •     Telephone speakers/display in campus offices and classrooms
  •     Computer desktop alert in computer labs
  •     E-Net banner
