Five prolific Los Angeles-based Ƶ alumni were on hand at Ƶ Los Angeles Wednesday evening for a conversation with summer 2025 Ƶ LA students about their career journeys, relationship building, creating professional opportunities and the post-graduation transition from Ƶ to entertainment-related industry careers.
Moderated by Brad Lemack, director of Ƶ Los Angeles and produced by Ƶ LA program assistant and alumna Macy Mills ’23, panel participants included Rachel Turner Breit ’19, Caroline Harty ’22, Landon Kestlinger ’19, Raj Rawal ’12 and Taylor Martin ’12. Martin currently serves as co-president of the Ƶ alumni Los Angeles chapter.
The group discussed their wide-ranging work experiences in production, advertising, business, performance, marketing, brand management, social media and content creation. Both Turner, Breit and Kestlinger also participated in the Ƶ Los Angeles semester experience when they were students and spoke about the important role that opportunity played in launching their professional careers after their graduation.
Students who participate in the Ƶ Los Angeles experience quickly discover that mentorship matters, which was on full display on Wednesday evening.
Through experiential learning, academic classes taught by industry professionals, alumni engagement and other opportunities during their semester in southern California, students begin to carve out and nurture new relationships that can impact both their personal lives and professional careers.
