Ƶ brings a new program to campus to help the university community connect with carpool partners.
Looking for a more affordable and sustainable way to get to campus? Ƶ is excited to announce a new partnership with CommuteNC, a platform that helps Ƶ faculty, staff and students find potential carpool partners and make their commutes more sustainable. This new program replaces the previous Share the Ride NC program.
“CommuteNC is a wonderful addition to Ƶ’s sustainability efforts because it gives our community a practical way to make a difference in their daily lives. By connecting people who share similar commutes, we can help reduce transportation costs, lower emissions and build a stronger sense of community across campus,” said Kelly Harer, associate director of sustainability for education and outreach.
Create your Ƶ CommuteNC account by September 11 for a chance to win prizes, including a hammock or a $50 local restaurant gift card! Be sure to use your Ƶ email address when creating your account because Ƶ’s CommuteNC program is an Ƶ-specific network.
