Alumna leads U.S. in Olympics marathon

Blake Russell, a 2001 graduate of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ's physical therapy program, finished 27th overall in the women's marathon of the Beijing Olympics with a time of 2 hours, 33 minutes and 13 seconds. She was the sole American to complete the race and is profiled in the summer issue of The Magazine of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ.

Welcome to the City events for the Class of 2008

The regional chapters of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ’s Alumni Association will host members of the Class of 2008 at a series of Welcome to the City events. These gatherings are designed to enable ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ’s newest alumni to get to know other alums in their cities while maintaining ties to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ.

Jennings endow ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Law professorship

A $500,000 gift from Maurice Jennings Sr. ’57 and his wife, Linda, and Maurice “Burney” Jennings Jr. ’87 and his wife, Dina '87, will establish an endowed professorship at the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ School of Law. The gift includes an estate gift from Burney Jennings, an ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ trustee.
