Major projects around ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Law set for take off

More than $200 million in building projects are slated for development within blocks of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ School of Law, providing several new cultural, educational and recreational opportunities for ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Law students, faculty and staff. An October 20 News & Record article reports on eleven major projects moving forward in downtown Greensboro, including a performing arts center, a downtown university center, an urban greenway, a new park, a new hotel and several apartment complexes.

Steven Friedland develops experiential learning in the law school classroom

Professor of Law Steven Friedland is on a mission to boost experiential learning in law school classrooms through hands-on techniques like simulations, role-playing, small group problem solving and interactive workshops. His teaching “team” includes fingerprint experts, K-9 police officers and their dogs, prosecutors, defense attorneys and ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Law graduates.
