ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ faculty joins a diverse community of scholars promoting community health. The capacity-building activity was organized by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's New Connection program in Denver at the end of October 2016.

The associate professor at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law addressed the Defend Trade Secrets Act of 2016 at an October program co-sponsored by the Virginia CLE and the Intellectual Property Section of the Virginia State Bar, and he discussed "confidentiality creep" at an event hosted by Marquette Law.

"Ethical Practice in the Age of Social Media and On-Line Interaction" was the title of a recent talk by ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law's director of Academic Support and Bar Preparation.

The Musical Theatre Edicators' Alliance held its 2016 International Conference in Oslo, Norway, at the Bardar Akademiet on Aug. 25-28.

Two alumni and a student also lead sessions at the conference, which was held Oct. 20-23 in Washington, D.C.

Rebecca Pope-Ruark, associate professor of English, penned the article for the Chronicle's Oct. 28 issue focusing on innovation in higher education. 

Amy Overman, associate professor of psychology, a faculty member in the neuroscience program and an associate director of the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning, and Alison Richard '16 conducted empirical research on memory that was recently published in a prestigious scientific journal.
