The university community gathered April 10, 2026, on South Campus for a ribbon-cutting ceremony that marks the next chapter in the storied history of an iconic ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ space.

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ football program had 54 players recognized on the CAA Fall 2025 Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.

Jake Marion '26, an ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ football player and nursing student, was highlighted by WSOC in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Both the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ baseball and softball teams had no-hitters at their respective games on Saturday, Feb. 28, and were highlighted by the Associated Press, Washington Post and MLB.com.

The Phoenix, who also won the crown in 2023, totaled 135 points in the team standings to outpace defending champion Hampton and third-place North Carolina A&T.

Since 2023, students have raised nearly $5,000 to benefit Special Olympics Alamance County, demonstrating how classroom learning can extend far beyond campus walls and translate into tangible, meaningful community impact.

Jake Marion ’26 was matched through a collaboration between Club Nursing and the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ football program to promote bone marrow donation.

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ alumnus has been named coordinating producer for ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Sports Vision, where he will oversee student crews and strengthen mentorship and professional development within the program.

The CAA Academic Alliance requested applications from the thirteen institutions comprising the Alliance. Nearly 400 applicants responded to the call, with 22 faculty/staff members chosen for the inaugural cohort, including two from ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ.

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Dance Team was joined by four faculty/staff members to perform the halftime show at the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ vs. Townsen men's basketball game.
