ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Athletics will host a marquee weekend in September centered around two signature events: the 19th annual Night of the Phoenix, presented by Samet, on Friday, Sept. 18, and the 2025-26 ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 19.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ will return to the NCAA Tournament for a second straight season and for the third time as a Division I program.

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Phoenix has secured an automatic bid to the NCAA Men's Tennis Championship. 

The university community gathered April 10, 2026, on South Campus for a ribbon-cutting ceremony that marks the next chapter in the storied history of an iconic ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ space.

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ football program had 54 players recognized on the CAA Fall 2025 Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.

Both the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ baseball and softball teams had no-hitters at their respective games on Saturday, Feb. 28, and were highlighted by the Associated Press, Washington Post and MLB.com.

The Phoenix, who also won the crown in 2023, totaled 135 points in the team standings to outpace defending champion Hampton and third-place North Carolina A&T.

Since 2023, students have raised nearly $5,000 to benefit Special Olympics Alamance County, demonstrating how classroom learning can extend far beyond campus walls and translate into tangible, meaningful community impact.
