The new edition of the popular college guide highlights ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's commitment to engaged learning and its strong community.

Campus Pride, a national resource for LGBTQ+ leadership development, diversity inclusion and advocacy within higher education, recently announced ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ as one of the "Best of the Best" in supporting LGBTQIA students.

Annual awards for teaching, scholarship, mentoring and service-leadership were presented at the Aug. 15 faculty meeting for ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ College, the College of Arts and Sciences.

The generous gift from ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ parents Gregory and Shelley Bausch P’16 and P‘18 endows scholarships to ensure exercise science majors access to the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Experiences.

The 2023 edition of "The Best 388 Colleges" guide also recognized ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's career services, campus, performing arts productions, residential facilities and classroom environments.

The endowed professorship was established by Trustee Wesley Elingburg and his wife, Cathy, in 2007.

Rizzuto, an assistant professor of chemistry, has been recognized for his record of scholarship and professional activity as well as his mentorship of students.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ President Connie Ledoux Book presented the medallion to two retired faculty members and a retired staff member during an event marking the start of a new academic year. The university also recognized two named professorships during the event.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ faculty and staff will participate in a full week of activities, gatherings and workshops as the university looks to begin the 2022-23 academic year.

Faculty members Israel Balderas, Amanda Sturgill and Shannon Zenner were recognized with awards at the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication’s 2022 national convention.
