The Greensboro Bar Association Foundation’s gift to the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law Annual Scholarship Fund provides support for ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law students who are preparing to positively impact their clients and communities as future lawyers.

A generous gift from Robert and Rosemary Baffi P’17 will increase scholarships in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s nationally recognized Odyssey Program. Creating more endowed scholarships is the top priority of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ LEADS Campaign.

The generosity of alumni, parents and friends has doubled the number of Odyssey Scholarships during the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ LEADS Campaign. The Odyssey Program assists outstanding students with high financial need, including first-generation college students.

The three-day event was held this year entirely over Zoom, and featured activities, performances and speakers.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Trustee Jay Hendrickson ’71 and his wife, Amy Hendrickson ’69, support A Will to Lead, a special initiative of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ LEADS Campaign to inspire donors to establish a lasting legacy by placing the university in their estate plans.

The annual fundraiser brings ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students together for a dance marathon supporting children and families at Duke Children’s Hospital and Health Center.

The statewide award recognizes the university’s efforts to grow its annual United Way campaign.

Ava Rosen ’23 reshaped her future thanks to the Inman Family Odyssey Scholarship, which led her to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ. Creating new scholarships to produce Graduates the World Needs is the top priority of the $250 million ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ LEADS campaign.

Accompanied by Assistant Professor Mark Cryan, nine members of the club sports team volunteered with Christmas Cheer of Alamance County, which delivers toys, clothing, food and financial assistance to area families.

In the midst of the holiday season, the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ New York City Alumni Chapter searched to find how we could make an impact in our own community in a robust way leaving behind an even larger impact than expected.
