Associate Professor Hal Walker’s Event Management service-learning class coordinated a two-day golf fundraiser in November to benefit the Liberty-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality therapy services.

Sam Martin ’24 found his career path through the Gail H. LaRose Odyssey Scholarship and Teaching Fellows Scholarship. Scholarships to produce Graduates the World Needs is the top priority of the $250 million ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ LEADS campaign.

Alumni, families and seniors once again have the chance to be featured on luminaries at this year’s Festival of Holiday Lights.

The generous gift from ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Trustee Vicky Hunt and her husband, Sam Hunt, will provide life-changing opportunities for generations of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students. This gift pushes the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ LEADS Campaign past the $200 million mark toward the $250 million goal.

The late Beth Powell, an entrepreneur and world traveler, has created a legacy that will help women studying business at the university. Her estate gift to the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ LEADS Campaign creates 12 Business Fellows scholarships and a Global Studies Scholarship.

The special fundraising effort to increase scholarship support has helped nearly 100 students whose families were impacted by COVID-19.

The lead gift, among the largest ever given to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, by Furman ‘56 and Susan Moseley will name IQ One and marks a significant step forward in the launch of facilities that will house ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s engineering and STEM programs.
