A grant from the Concord, N.C., foundation moves the university closer to breaking ground on the project.

Nearly 3,000 parents of current students and alumni showed their support for ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ in the last fiscal year.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ parents Jamey Nugent and Tracey Walser ’84 Nugent pledge generous gift to the project.

Gifts made from June 1, 2012, through May 31, 2013, outpaced the previous fiscal year by $2.8 million.

A lead gift from ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ parents William J. "Bill" and Patricia "Pat" Inman will help fund construction of a new facility on main campus.

Student leaders collected more than $46,000 this year from seniors, their parents, grandparents and friends through the Senior Class Giving Campaign.

Sixty-six percent of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ employees this year made gifts to the institution in support of student scholarships, athletics programs and more.

 

A planned gift allowed Kelli Palmer '98 to give to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, a place that has had
"the single greatest impact" on this generation of her family.

Designs are complete for ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's new performing arts facility at the Francis Center.
