ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ LEADS Campaign chair Chris Martin ’78 P’13 announced a special campaign initiative to allow alumni, parents and friends to establish a lasting legacy at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ by placing the university in their estate plans to fund scholarships and other key institutional priorities.

The recent graduate worked through COVID-19 and the Texas winter storm to generate funds for Austin Pets Alive!, a no-kill animal shelter in Austin.

Together, the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community raised over $3.4 million from 5,609 gifts and unlocked numerous opportunities for ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students and the community.

The on-campus events offered an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to safely gather to celebrate the university and support ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Day.

The university’s communications efforts in 2020 were recognized for excellence by the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Koenigsberger Learning Center creates one-stop learning commons for all students and synergies for support services, even during the pandemic.

Foundation with strong family ties to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ makes $130,000 gift toward construction of game-changing facility for STEM and interdisciplinary studies. The gift is the second by the foundation for the IQ project and also supports the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ LEADS campaign.
