Alumni, students, families, faculty, staff and friends gave more than $2.5 million in gifts, showed their pride on social media, and attended events around the world in honor of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Day.

The special ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Day gathering inside Alumni Gym offered a chance for students, faculty, staff and supporters to celebrate the university they love.

Richard ’87 P’17 and Laurie Johnson P’17 extend their ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ legacy with a generous planned gift.

Mark your calendars: On March 5, the global ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community is invited to participate in a daylong celebration by making a gift to the university, attending on-campus and regional alumni chapter events, and sharing their ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ pride on social media.

The gift from ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Executive Vice President Steven House and his wife, Patricia House, will support excellence in undergraduate mentoring, a hallmark of an ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ education. The couple’s gift is counted as part of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ LEADS Campaign.

Area retirees have found more than a lifelong learning community in LIFE@ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ.

Communications initiatives were highlighted for excellence by Southeast District of the the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's Festival of Holiday Lights will be held Tuesday, Dec. 3. with campus decorated with luminarias that honor those who have supported the university with their gifts and service.
