The sixth annual gratitude event, held April 5, celebrated the impact of philanthropy on ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s campus.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students, faculty, and staff will once again have the chance to show their appreciation to the university’s donors during "A Thousand Thanks," a campus-wide gratitude event scheduled for April 5.

The third annual #ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵDay celebration raised $955,099 from 3,749 gifts, making it the single greatest day of giving in ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s history.

Members of the worldwide ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ community can participate by making a gift to the university and sharing their ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ pride on social media.

Students, faculty and staff celebrated ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ on March 8, 2016, in a special gathering around Fonville Fountain where revelers heard from two young alumni about the value and power of giving back to their alma mater.

The new Richard W. Sankey Hall, to be located just south of Colonnades Dining Hall, will provide classrooms and learning facilities for students in all academic majors. 

A generous endowment gift from the estate of two ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ grandparents will help make possible life-changing global study experiences as the university seeks to provide 100 percent access to these programs for all students.

Codner joins ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Office of University Advancement from Bucknell University and will lead efforts to grow the tradition of philanthropic support among ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s constituents. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ parents Geoff and Dottie Jenkins P’09 P’15 are making a difference at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ through planned gifts.

The generous support of School of Education donors is providing life-changing experiences for teacher candidates and the children they teach.
