Students, faculty and staff celebrated ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ on March 8, 2016, in a special gathering around Fonville Fountain where revelers heard from two young alumni about the value and power of giving back to their alma mater.

The new Richard W. Sankey Hall, to be located just south of Colonnades Dining Hall, will provide classrooms and learning facilities for students in all academic majors. 

A generous endowment gift from the estate of two ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ grandparents will help make possible life-changing global study experiences as the university seeks to provide 100 percent access to these programs for all students.

Codner joins ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Office of University Advancement from Bucknell University and will lead efforts to grow the tradition of philanthropic support among ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s constituents. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ parents Geoff and Dottie Jenkins P’09 P’15 are making a difference at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ through planned gifts.

The generous support of School of Education donors is providing life-changing experiences for teacher candidates and the children they teach.

Hundreds of people celebrated the arrival of the holidays on Thursday night as ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ hosted its annual Festival of Holiday Lights in the heart of a campus aglow with luminarias honoring alumni and student donors.

More than 2,000 alumni and seniors will be honored on Dec. 3 during this year's Festival of Holiday Lights, which features singing of Christmas carols and luminarias, hot chocolate and cider, the lighting of a Hanukkah menorah, and a visit by Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus.

What do you give a friend and loved one on the occasion of his 100th birthday? You create the James W. White ’40 and Sara R. White Music Scholarship to benefit future generations of music majors at the university he holds so close to his heart.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ held a ceremonial steel beam signing to honor donors and celebrate the new academic facilities now being constructed for the School of Communications Under the Oaks.
