Lynne Kurdziel Formato choreographs production of ‘FAME’

Lynne Kurdziel Formato, associate professor of performing arts, choreographed a professional production of "FAME" for Artpark in Lewiston, N.Y. Directed by Randy Kramer, the show featured 11 current students or alumni of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ's music theatre program, including Raphael Andrews, Maddie Franke, Clark Kinkade, Em Laudeman, Jared Loftin, Guy Mannick, Ben Redding, Sean Ronayne, Leela Rothenberg, Lucy Ann Werner and Tanner Wilson.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµâ€™s Beta Alpha Psi receives Gold chapter status

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ’s chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, the honorary organization for financial information students and professionals, was awarded “Gold chapter” status during the national organization’s annual conference this month in Denver. ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ was one of seven chapters to achieve the honor, which is the highest award level a chapter can receive.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ chaplain emeritus Richard McBride, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ trustee Dr. William N.P Herbert ’68 and retired vice president Nan Perkins received ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Medallions on Aug. 22, 2011, in an annual ceremony that celebrates the highest honor the university bestows on individuals for their meritorious service to the institution.
