ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ head football coach Pete Lembo announced last week that David Vaughn '80 has joined the Phoenix football staff as a volunteer assistant coach.

Alumni, parents and friends of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ joined coaches Pete Lembo and Matt Matheny for a day on the links at the Washington, D.C., Alumni Chapter's first charity golf tournament. Held Friday, June 11, at 1757 Golf Club in Dulles, Va., the event included a round at Northern Virginia's newest golf course and dinner for the more than 60 attendees.

For Raymond Beck ’75, the online auction site eBay is occasionally a treasure trove of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ artifacts, and one of the latest finds for the retired North Carolina State Capitol historian and site manager was a gold medal from the “Clio” literary society engraved with the name of the man who received it as a graduate of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ College's Class of 1893.
