Raville’s “Gen-One” initiative aims to provide students, especially those who are the first in their families to attend college, with the professional clothing they need to feel confident on campus and beyond.

The "It Takes a Village" Project's fall semester concluded with a food-themed lesson hosted by ������Ƶ Dining and Harvest Table Culinary Group.

The project will conclude for the year with a hands-on learning event held in partnership with Harvest Table Culinary Group on Dec. 4 in Alumni Gym.

The national celebration, now in its third year, recognizes the success of those who are the first in their families to attend college.

Students in the ������Ƶ Academy, the university's college access and success program for academically promising high school students, spent Tuesday afternoon learning about career opportunities from local professionals. 

The June 17 gathering provided the opportunity for ������Ƶ faculty and staff to talk with members of the newest cohort, the Xi Class, as well as other ������Ƶ Academy scholars who will be on campus through mid-July. 

Friends, family and supporters gathered with members of ������Ƶ Academy's Lambda Class to applaud their achievements and cheer them on as they prepare to start college this fall.
