ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law Professor Tom Molony delivered a presentation titled, "Still Floating: Security-Based Swap Agreements after Dodd-Frank," at a faculty colloquium at the University of St. Thomas School of Law on March 30.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law Professor Howard Katz served as chair and discussant for the panel, "Judicial Activism, Regime Politics, and the U.S. Supreme Court," at the 2011 Conference of the Midwest Political Science Association, held March 31 through April 3 in Chicago.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law professor Steve Friedland delivered a presentation titled "Redesigning Legal Education One Archetypal Structure at a Time," to the faculty of Western Law at The University of Western Ontario in Canada on March 3. Friedland directs the Center for Engaged Learning in the Law at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ.

At the 2011 joint annual meeting of the Business Law, Corporate Counsel and International Law and Practice Sections of the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA), ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law professor Tom Molony delivered the North Carolina Business Law Update. This is the second year in a row that Molony has delivered the Business Law Update, having taken over in 2010 for Wake Forest's Alan Palmiter, who had made the presentation for many years.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law professor David Levine presented research about the negotiating process for the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement at Boston University School of Law's 2011 Works-in-Progress Intellectual Property Colloquium.
