Foundation gift funds engagement initiative for incoming Jewish students

In an effort to welcome new students to campus and through the support of an anonymous gift to the university, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Hillel this summer launched a pilot project where a trio of student interns reached out to dozens of incoming freshmen with the goal of engaging them in the growing Jewish life on campus.

Campaign gift from ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ parents advances Jewish Studies program

A $250,000 endowment gift to the Ever ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Campaign from The Levine-Sklut Family Foundation will significantly expand the university’s Jewish Studies program by establishing The Lori and Eric Sklut Emerging Scholar in Jewish Studies. This gift was made possible thanks to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ parents Eric and Lori Sklut, of Charlotte, N.C.
