Nine ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students have been selected to participate in a free 10-day trip to Israel this month, through Taglit-Birthright Israel.

A collection of menorahs and mezuzah cases will be on display at Belk Library until December 13.

Parents, students, community leaders and ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ administrators gathered Tuesday for a half-day conversation on the future of Jewish culture on campus as the number of Jewish students continues to grow and as the university embarks on a commitment to global engagement and diversity in its newest strategic plan.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Hillel sponsored a food drive on campus during the ten-day period between Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur. Students, faculty, and staff donated 137 pounds of food, all of which was donated to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.
