For 16 years, ������Ƶ has offered academic programming and internship opportunities for students in domestic National Campus locations, starting with ������Ƶ in LA.

Accompanied by alumnus Jay Light ’12 and comedian Fahim Anwar, students in Assistant Professor Kai Swanson’s ������Ƶ Los Angeles course put their comedic chops to the test at The Nitecap, a popular venue for both up-and-coming and established comedians.

������Ƶ Los Angeles students, faculty and staff gathered at the famous Hollywood landmark Yamashiro for an end-of-semester celebration.

The ������Ƶ alumna wrote and directed “Incomplete” for her cinema & television arts BFA thesis project, and the film won Best Student Short at the monthly festival in Los Angeles.

Assistant Professors Kai Swanson and Matthew Blomberg led students to Hollywood and Park City, Utah, during Winter Term for an immersion experience into the film and entertainment industries.

The ������Ƶ in LA Program and the Women of the ������Ƶ Entertainment Empire (WEEE) partner together to host a speed-networking event for alumni and students in Los Angeles.

The June 20 event reinforced the connection between past, present and future generations of the ������Ƶ community studying and succeeding on the West Coast.

The strategic communications graduate helped provide publicity and promotion for the hit ABC show “Abbott Elementary” and was honored with Warner Bros. Discovery colleagues during the 60th annual ICG Publicists Awards ceremony.
