The 2017 ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Distinguished Scholar Award recipient will present an overview of her research into online communities. 

An interdisciplinary team of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students presented a data analysis during the Business Analytics Competition at Manhattan College.

The NSA grant will bring nine students selected from a national pool to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ to work with Awtrey and participate in the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Summer Undergraduate Research Experience. 

 

Faculty from the Mathematics and Statistics Department attended the electronic Conference on Teaching Statistics (eCOTS) and hosted the first eCOTS Regional Dinner at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ. 

 

Kristen Mazur will serve as the Section Lecturer for the Southeastern Section of the Mathematical Association of America for the 2018-2019 academic year.

 

Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Statistics Kristen Mazur publishes article in the American Mathematical Monthly on her research in the mathematics of voting theory.

A record 11 ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students and alums have been awarded Fulbright grants this spring to teach English or conduct research, adding to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s reputation as a top producer of Fulbright award winners.
