Notable in recent weeks was regional media coverage of Ƶ School of Law's full accreditation from the American Bar Association, regional stories and broadcasts on Ƶ's new head women's basketball coach, and mention of the Ƶ Poll by the Los Angeles Times and Chicago Tribune.
Doherty Center entrepreneurship camp featured in local media

An entrepreneurship camp sponsored by the Doherty Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and led by David Jackson, an adjunct professor of entrepreneurship and business, was featured June 25, 2011, in a front-page story in the (Burlington, N.C.) Times-News.
Bloomberg Businessweek ranks Ƶ’s business program among nation’s best

Bloomberg Businessweek ranks Ƶ's Martha and Spencer Love School of Business among the nation's top undergraduate business programs in its 2011 rankings, which were released March 3. Ƶ ranks #26 in academic quality and receives an "A" grade for facilities and services.
Alamance County youth to share ideas for school improvement – June 22

Students from a half dozen Alamance County middle schools will conclude the 2011 Alamance Youth Leadership Academy on Wednesday morning with presentations to parents and school leaders on how they plan to improve their building communities with potential yearlong projects for 2011-2012.

For the second year in a row, Ƶ has been named one of the nation’s most “environmentally responsible green colleges” by the Princeton Review, in partnership with the U.S. Green Building Council. The annual ranking profiles schools that “demonstrate notable commitments to sustainability in their academic offerings, campus infrastructure, activities and career preparation.
