The senior vice provost at Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania, brings more than 20 years of academic and administrative leadership to the position. 

The Triad Business Journal highlighted the contributions of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ President Connie Ledoux Book and trustees Allen Gant Jr. and Bobby Long in its Oct. 28, 2022, special edition.

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ parents and supporters of the university were honored with the medallion, the university's highest honor for service, at the Evening for ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ event in New York event on Thursday, Sept. 15.

Along with the update, the university has redesigned the Boldly ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ website to offer more details on how the university is progressing in achieving its strategic goals.

Faculty and staff gathered in Schar Center on Monday morning to celebrate the accomplishments of three ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Medallion recipients and two endowed professorships, as well as hear President Connie Ledoux Book's opening address.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ President Connie Ledoux Book presented the medallion to two retired faculty members and a retired staff member during an event marking the start of a new academic year. The university also recognized two named professorships during the event.

With live music from the North Carolina Brass Band, prize drawings and free refreshments, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ showed its appreciation to its staff, faculty and community with the Summer Concert and Picnic.

President Book delivered this video message to faculty and staff at the close of the 2021-22 academic year.

Book, ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's ninth president, is included within a list of influential leaders in education in North Carolina.
