After exploring the potential connections between outdoor learning environments and improved outcomes for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder during her time at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ, Samantha Friedman '18 has co-authored an article with mentor Scott Morrison, associate professor of education, in a peer-reviewed journal.

During the spring semester, the School of Education's Allison Bryan and Lisa Buchanan co-hosted a virtual book club focused on identity and representation for educators.

Associate professor of education, Lisa Buchanan, presented a paper at the American Educational Research Association (AERA) as part of a larger study of preservice teachers' use of documentary film to learn about immigrant and refugee experiences.

More than 1,400 students were invited to participate in the three commencement ceremonies held Friday, May 21, in Schar Center. Tony Award nominee and Broadway star Daniel J. Watts '04 delivered the commencement address.

The School of Education hosted its annual Celebration of Student Excellence on May 17 to recognize the Class of 2021 and the students who demonstrate exceptional contributions in and out of the classroom.
