The teacher induction ceremony in the School of Education marks a milestone in the academic journey of teacher candidates. On Sept. 19, a new cohort of 58 teacher candidates were inducted into the teacher education program.

Jeffrey Carpenter, associate professor of education and director of the Teaching Fellows program, published the article in the peer-reviewed journal Teaching and Teacher Education. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Provost Steven House urged the 2019 Master of Education graduates to be passionate, curious and responsible educators at the program's Commencement ceremony Saturday. 

Tyrone Jean and Cherrel Miller Dyce made presentations at the National Conference on Race & Ethnicity held May 28 through June 1 in Portland, Oregon.

The School of Education's FLEX Program offers academically gifted students from the Alamance-Burlington School System the opportunity to learn fresh, engaging lessons from M.Ed. and gifted licensure candidates

Wednesday's poster session offered nearly 40 ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students the opportunity to share the progress they made on a range of research topics through the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience, one of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's signature program. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ welcomes a new cohort of 12 to the M.A. in Higher Education program. Orientation for the 12 graduate apprentices will be held on campus from Aug. 7-9.
