Jeffrey Carpenter, associate professor of education and director of the Teaching Fellows program, Julie Justice, assistant professor of education, and Scott Morrison, assistant professor of education, published articles in the journal Learning Landscapes.

The prominent author and expert in the fields of autism and animal welfare will visit campus on Tuesday, Feb. 27 with a 7:30 p.m. lecture in McCrary Theatre titled "Developing Individuals Who Have Different Kinds of Minds."

The application process for the innovative program, which will enroll an initial cohort of 12 students, is underway.​

Ann Bullock, dean of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's School of Education, was a featured guest on a recent episode of Education Matters, a program that airs statewide on UNC-TV as well as in the Triangle on WRAL and in the Charlotte area on FOX 50. 

Enfield, associate professor of education worked with Rosenthal to write “Taking science home: Reflexivity on becoming a teacher insider in an afterschool science program,” a book about their efforts to bring science learning to local children in an informal after-school program. The book narrates their efforts to become insiders in the social and cultural context, their learning as teachers, and the ways that science learning mediated between the children, teachers, context and content through the after-school program.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's annual celebration of intellectual inquiry and scholarship features the work of eight accomplished faculty scholars as well as eight students who are working with faculty mentors on undergraduate research.

Students from Mark Enfield’s COR110 class hosted fifth-grade students from a local elementary school for a day at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ.  

An information session for the new M.A. in Higher Education program will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 10:30 a.m. in the Inman ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Welcome Center. 

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ's new Master of Arts in Higher Education program will host an on-campus information session on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 10:30 a.m., and a virtual information session on Thursday, Dec. 7, at 6 p.m.
