ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s Village Project is now operating at five local public schools with help from many student groups including athletics, Fellows and fraternities.

Morgan Goldstein ‘16, an elementary education and special education double major from Robbinsville, N.J., will travel to Spain in September as part of a federal program that builds good will between the United States and people of other nations.

The assistant professor of education and director of the Teaching Fellows program co-authored the article in the journal Teaching and Teacher Education.

Heidi Hollingsworth (EDU; Program Coordinator, Early Childhood Education) and Maureen Vandermaas-Peeler (PSY; Director, Center for Research on Global Engagement) co-authored an article on fostering inquiry-based teaching and learning with preschool teachers.

 

The assistant professor of education and director of the Teaching Fellows program was involved in four different presentations at the SITE Annual Conference in Savannah, Georgia from March 22-25, 2016.

A pilot project led by faculty members Martin Kamela and Dave Gammon brought Alamance County elementary and middle school students to campus for four days of science and math activities while ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ students traveled away for spring break.

Assistant professor of education publishes article in the peer-reviewed journal Social Studies and the Young Learner.
