When Joleen Parks graduates on Saturday in the first class to complete ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law's new 2.5-year program, it will be her next chapter in a life radically changed five years ago in the skies over North Carolina.

A dozen Fellows in the Class of December 2017 recently shared with first-year students the details of projects aimed at improving the community while strengthening their own leader lawyer skills.

The Guilford County Association of Black Lawyers awarded scholarships this fall to Areion Gamble, Nicole Opata and Charles Sexton for their achievements in law school and "characteristics that indicate their future success as attorneys."

Mia Faith Chamberlain, a Leadership Fellow with a passion "to advocate and defend religious freedom for all," will spend a week this fall in Washington, D.C., to network with professionals involved in protecting religious freedom in the United States.
