The Access Group Center for Research & Policy Analysis awarded ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law a grant of more than a quarter million dollars to assess enhancements to a program that graduates students in less time, and with greater cost savings, than traditional three-year law schools.

Fifty students took part in an annual competition that challenged participants this fall to argue the merits or mistakes of prosecutorial decisions in a fictional murder case.

The influential college guide lists ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law in its 2017 edition of "The Best 172 Law Schools," which featured feedback from an 80-question student survey.

Three former chief justices of the North Carolina Supreme Court - today members of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ School of Law Board of Advisors - shared personal and career stories to new students enrolled in an August legal leadership class.

The class participated in a private question-and-answer session with diplomats from each consulate, and students enjoyed robust and instructive conversations on topics of international law and policy.

With help from the university's Humanitarian Immigration Law Clinic, Y Srai achieved a longtime goal on Aug. 19, 2016, when he took the Oath of Allegiance to the United States of America. 

New students spent part of a day assisting local nonprofits and agencies with activities that helped improve the lives of people and animals in need across North Carolina's Piedmont Triad.
