ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Law student commemorates anniversary of the Lebanese Cedar Revolution

Mitch Baroody, a member of the Class of 2014 at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Law, participated in a March 19 Washington, DC event to commemorate the seventh anniversary of the Lebanese Cedar Revolution. The event featured U.S. Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood, Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Jeffrey Feltman and Ambassador to Lebanon Maura Connelly.

Federalist Society hosts debate on judicial selection

The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Law chapter of The Federalist Society hosted a debate at the law school on January 11 between University of Kansas School of Law Professor Stephen Ware and Duke Law Professor Paul Carrington about the best way to select judges.

Student groups host Action Panel on Marriage Equality

Student organizations at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Law hosted an Oct. 11 panel discussion on marriage equality prompted by the North Carolina General Assembly's recent decision to allow a same-sex marriage ban amendment to go before voters in the May 2012 elections.
