Mock trial teams compete in Tennessee and Washington, D.C.

Competing nationally for the first time since the mock trial program was established, members of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Law's Student Advocacy Board recently traveled to Tennessee and Washington, D.C. to compete in the National Trial Competition (NTC) and the Student Trial Advocacy Competition (STAC), respectively, earning high marks from competition judges and faculty.

The second edition of the online Journal of Leadership and the Law, published October 17, includes interviews with accomplished lawyers about leadership in the judiciary and in immigration law, as well as student articles about the Conference on Law and Leadership and the value of interdisciplinary work, multilingualism and receptiveness to effective leadership in the law.

2012 Intramural Moot Court champions announced

Fourteen students were selected to join the law school’s Moot Court Board after the Fifth Annual ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Law Intramural Moot Court Competition. David Lambert and Christian Robin won the final round of the competition held on October 1.

Black Law Students Association recognizes graduating students
