Honors Students Study Abroad and Away

Every Honors student is eligible for a one-time $1,000 intercultural grant for study an ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ-approved study abroad or study away program. These include ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s semester, Winter Term, and Summer Term programs, plus ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ-affiliated semester programs. Check with the  for a list of accepted programs. It is recommended that you meet with a study abroad advisor as well as your academic advisor to determine how your courses abroad/away will fit your overall academic plan.

When you apply for a study abroad or study away program through the Global Education Center, be sure to note that you are an Honors student on your application. If you would like to apply the $1,000 travel grant, be sure to do so by the due date found on the Honors Fellows Moodle page. Grants are applied no sooner than ten days prior to the semester of study.
