The workshop, held virtually, focused on "Mathematical Modeling and Simulation of Tumor Angiogenesis."

Assistant Professor of Mathematics Hwayeon Ryu attended the (virtual) workshop on “,” for Jan 4-8, 2021, organized by , one of National Science Foundation-funded institutes located in San Jose, California. Her attendance was supported by American Institute of Mathematics.
During the workshop, Ryu and workshop participants collaboratively worked on a variety of (open) problems in the theoretical and data-driven side of mathematical modeling, with a goal of investigating the significant new advances in tumor angiogenesis and therapeutic directions.
