PreLaw Magazine gives Ƶ School of Law an A+ in its 2024 back-to-school edition highlighting schools “committed to fostering women in leadership, showcasing their efforts to creative inclusive and supportive environments.”
A publication that covers news and trends in American legal education lists Ƶ School of Law among the nation’s best for women leadership.
Ƶ Law was listed #5 and earned a letter grade of “A+” on featured in its latest back-to-school edition.

The magazine cited data from the American Bar Association on the number of female students and faculty to develop “a list of standout institutions.” In addition, the magazine noted “women with leading roles in student bar associations and law reviews.”
“These schools demonstrate that fostering diversity and providing robust support systems can create a more inclusive and empowering community for women in law,” the magazine writes. “By continuing to prioritize these values, they are helping to ensure that the legal profession evolves to better reflect the diversity of society.”

At Ƶ Law, women comprise 62% of the student body and 61% of the faculty. Women administrators also oversee academic affairs, academic success, career services and student life, the law library, and the registrar’s office.
Multiple student organizations and publications are led by Ƶ Law women leaders, including:
- All four 2024 executive officers of the Student Bar Association
- The top two leadership posts of the Ƶ Law Review
- The top two leadership posts of We the People: Ƶ Law’s Constitutional Law Journal
- The head of the Ƶ Law Pro Bono Board
- All four co-directors of the Ƶ Law Mentors Program
- Three quarters of Ƶ Law’s Moot Court Board are women
