Alumni, parents and friends gathered at The Julia Morgan Ballroom on Tuesday, Nov. 12, to kick off the historic ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ LEADS fundraising campaign in their region.

As a philanthropic arm of the legal community, the Greensboro Bar Association Foundation’s gift to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law will help support the school’s expansive print and digital collections, including a Westlaw public access terminal.

More than 25 donors have stepped forward to name a room at the new boutique hotel, which is scheduled to open in early January on ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s campus.

The 10,000-square-foot, two-story building officially opened in September and includes gathering and study space for students, faculty and staff.

The new studio in the Koury Athletic Center, made possible through a gift from ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ parents Rick and Laura Needham P’19, will support both academic and wellness programs on campus.

The Greensboro-based TV station provided an overview of progress on the project, which is slated to open in early 2020.
