The ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ campus knows him as the "Phantom." Now, Matt Shingledecker, a senior music theatre major, will learn another role - "Melchior" - as the Broadway understudy to a lead character in the Tony Award-winning musical Spring Awakening.

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ junior Breanna Detwiler has been named a recipient of a 2008 Morris K. Udall Scholarship, an award for scholars dedicated to careers related to the environment. It is the second time in the past month she has made school history by winning a national fellowship never before awarded to an ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ student.

A series of events at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ this week highlighting the costs of war in Iraq concluded Thursday with a community discussion where students, staff and members of the public shared their struggles in dealing with the moral issues of U.S. actions overseas.
