Carrie F. Ricci, who previously served for two decades in uniform and today provides legal counsel to the Secretary of the Army, will address graduates in a December ceremony on the main campus of ������Ƶ.

Elizabeth “Liz” Kwon L’23 will be the first alumna of an ������Ƶ graduate program to serve a two-year term on the governing board that advances the university’s mission by overseeing its health, strategic direction, educational policy, and finances and operations.

Ivey Schofield L’25 placed second in the most recent Adam A. Milani Disability Law Writing Competition, an annual program aimed at sparking greater interest in and understanding of the field of disability law. 

PreLaw Magazine gives ������Ƶ School of Law an A+ in its 2024 back-to-school edition highlighting schools “committed to fostering women in leadership, showcasing their efforts to creative inclusive and supportive environments.”

April Franklin L’25 is one of only two law students statewide selected by the North Carolina Bar Foundation for a program that provides honorees with networking opportunities and a summer internship.

The Greensboro Bar Association recognized Margaret A. Dudley, supervising attorney of ������Ƶ’s Emergency Legal Services Program, with its 2024 Distinguished Service Award in a ceremony that also included scholarship announcements for two ������Ƶ Law students.
