David Gergen to deliver ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ School of Law 2009 Commencement address

David Gergen, adviser to four U.S. presidents, director of the Center for Public Leadership at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and chair of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ School of Law Advisory Board, will deliver the inaugural Commencement address for the law school, scheduled for 3 p.m., Sunday, May 24, at Carolina Theatre in downtown Greensboro. ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ will also present Gergen with an honorary doctorate at the ceremonies.

Lewis, a leading authority on national security and the law of war, appeared at the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ School of Law on April 23 for a discussion with ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law Professor Victor Streib, entitled "9/11 Revisited, An Act of War or An Act of Organized Crime." The event was sponsored by the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law chapter of the Federalist Society.
