Kente ceremony at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Law honors history and achievement

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Law’s Donning of the Kente ceremony on the eve of Commencement for the Class of 2020 was the first to be hosted in a virtual format as graduates active in the Black Law Students Association and their families celebrated the significance of their achievement.

Federal judge to law grads: ‘Always believe in justice’

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Law conferred degrees Saturday on 122 graduates who celebrated the end of their legal education with an online ceremony streamed from Alumni Gym and featuring an address by Chief Judge Roger L. Gregory of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Moot Court Board hosts its first virtual national competition

A team from George Mason University took top honors in the 11th Billings, Exum & Frye National Moot Court Competition, which welcomed 48 teams from 31 law schools across the United States, making it the largest moot court contest ever hosted by ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ Law.
