Welcome to ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ! We are excited to have you join our community and wish you a successful and rewarding academic year. This page provides important information for International Students regarding Student Health Insurance.

All international students with F-1 and J-1 visas, regardless of credit hours, have been enrolled in the offered through United Healthcare.

Coverage became effective August 1, 2026, and continues through January 31, 2027. Students enrolled in the plan will receive information about accessing United Healthcare benefits. Student Blue plan coverage is no longer active as of 8/1/2026.

  • Read your plan benefits carefully. Review the 2026-27  and coverage information online. Rates are subject to final approval.
  • Premium charges are the same for undergraduate and graduate students, with slight variations based only on a student’s age at the time of enrollment.
  • Your insurance premium will continue to be billed through your student account, and you do not need to take any additional steps. Please note the annual premium may be billed by semester during each coverage period. The Office of Student Financial Services will update student accounts within the next 10 business days. If you have already paid your tuition bill, any difference in your insurance premium will be credited to your account.
  • For questions regarding benefits and eligibility please contact Administrative Concepts, Inc. at (800) 476-4802, as noted the insurance ID card.

Trail Blazer Elite cards can be may be picked up from the Office of International Student Services in the Global Neighborhood, Sato Hall, Room 313. To arrange pickup, reach out to Angela Shrader at ashrader2@elon.edu.

Once an assigned campus box address has been received, students should update their mailing address accordingly.
