Good afternoon, Faculty and Teaching Employees,

As we approach August,  to help you prepare your Canvas courses before students begin using the platform. Whether you’re migrating a course, making final adjustments, or exploring Canvas for the first time, there are several opportunities to get personalized guidance before Planning Week.

Want to build your Canvas skills?

We’re excited to welcome Woody Roper, Senior Strategic Learning Consultant at Instructure, for a three-part virtual workshop series designed to help you prepare your courses and teach in Canvas.

Need help preparing your course?

If you’re still moving content from Moodle to Canvas or have questions about migrating course content, join one of our Moodle to Canvas Migration Drop-In Hours:

These sessions are designed to provide hands-on support with course migration and course preparation.

Looking for one-on-one guidance?

Join Canvas Consultation Office Hours to ask questions, troubleshoot challenges, or receive individualized support as you prepare your course.

A quick reminder:

Preparing a course looks a little different for every instructor. These support opportunities are here to support you, wherever you are in that process.

Bring the course you’re preparing to a workshop or consultation session. Ask questions as they come up, and Teaching and Learning Technologies will work through them with you.

When you’re working in Canvas,  is available directly in the platform for general Canvas questions, troubleshooting technical issues, and help navigating Canvas features.
