Accelerated programs offer a unique opportunity for students seeking both undergraduate and graduate degrees at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ. Partnerships with the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law School, Martha and Spencer Love School of Business and the School of Health Sciences provide students pathways and Dual-Degree options that accelerate your undergraduate experience all while preparing you to earn a graduate degree. By reducing your undergraduate experience by up to 1 year, you save time and tuition dollars and increases your earning potential by entering the workforce ahead of schedule.

Accelerated Programs are only available to incoming first-year students and require a separate application to be completed after you submit the first-year application. Consideration for these programs will be given to students who are academically strong, have taken rigorous coursework and are prepared to meet the demands of an accelerated academic schedule. Finalists will receive notification by February 1 for an on-campus interview.

Accelerated Pathways to PA and PT

Associated with the School of Health Sciences (SHS), incoming first-year students are offered a distinctive Accelerated Pathway to the university’s highly selective Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (PA) and Doctor of Physical Therapy (PT) programs. Selected Accelerated Pathway students will complete their undergraduate degree in three and a half years providing an opportunity for admission and enrollment into the PA and PT programs in the final semester of their fourth year (January). Students will participate in programming throughout their undergraduate career that is aimed at developing essential skills and fluencies, drawn from a liberal arts education, necessary for success as a healthcare provider.

Accelerated 3+1 Business Dual-Degree Programs

Fast-track your career with the Accelerated 3+1 Business Dual-Degree Programs in Accounting or Business Analytics. Available for incoming first-year students, a cohort experience that will save both time and money by earning your bachelor’s and master’s degrees in four years from a nationally ranked, AACSB-accredited business school, while still benefiting from all the hallmarks of an ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ education – global engagement, internships and professional development. Those choosing the M.S. in Accounting track will earn their bachelor’s degree in accounting or any undergraduate arts and sciences major. Those who choose the M.S. in Business analytics will earn a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Accelerated 3+2.5 Law Dual-Degree Program

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law is nationally ranked in practical training and the first law school in the nation with a 2.5-year curriculum. The Accelerated 3+2.5 Law Dual-Degree program is offered to high achieving undergraduate students interested in earning a bachelor’s degree and a Juris Doctorate within 5.5 years. This innovative approach will have you complete 3 years (108 credit hours) including your major and core curriculum. Year four will be your first year at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law transferring courses back to earn your bachelor’s degree. Save time and money compared to the normal seven-year path to a law degree. You will also benefit from all the hallmarks of an ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Law education, including a highly experiential approach, small class sizes, strong relationships with classmates and professors and robust career services and professional development.

Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing

The Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN)* program is for individuals who have completed a bachelor’s degree in any field and wish to pursue a 2nd bachelor’s degree. This program is designed to be completed in 16 months and is cohort based starting in each fall semester. Applicants must also complete 6 pre-requisite courses as well as have a TEAS exam score of 65 or greater.
