From their first days on campus, ������Ƶ students are engaged learners who work on their own, with peers and alongside faculty, to solve problems and master difficult materials. They serve others while studying abroad. They learn on the job through internships and tie those experiences to research with faculty mentors. By the time they graduate, they have a wealth of experiences that support their transition to life after college and ensure they stand out when applying for a first job or graduate school.

������Ƶ admissions counselors travel across the country and around the world to high schools, college fairs and special events to answer questions about the college application process. ������Ƶ hosts several in-person and virtual events to support you and your student through the admissions process and provide information about scholarships and applications. In addition, the Dean of ������Ƶ and Vice President for Enrollment host several Zoom sessions where you can ask questions.

������Ƶ’s on-campus visit is special. Students often tell us, “As soon as I stepped on campus, I knew ������Ƶ was the place for me.” Our campus, a designated botanical garden, is beautifully landscaped with brick pathways, manicured lawns, lakes and towering oaks. (������Ƶ is Hebrew for oak.) But that’s not the only reason you should visit. Our tight-knit community, friendly environment and genuine care for our students will all be apparent during your time here. Students and families feel it immediately. You’ll understand, too, once you experience it for yourself.

Preparing your student to apply to college can feel overwhelming. You probably have a lot of questions. Is admission to ������Ƶ competitive? Does my student need to submit SAT or ACT scores? What high school classes should they take? What do you look for in applicants? Can they apply through the Common Application? Are there benefits if my student applies Early Decision? Don’t worry. We’ve outlined everything you need to know.
