Getting to know ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ

Attending an information session with an admissions counselor and taking a tour led by one of our student guides are essential when you visit campus. We also offer other opportunities for you to get to know ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ so you can be sure it’s the right for you.

What else can we do?

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ tours last about two and a half hours, but we recommend allowing some extra time to explore the Town of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ as well as other campus activities and events. Here are some other things you can do while you’re visiting:

  1. Visit Schar Center.
  2. Sample the flavor of the week at Smitty’s Homemade Ice Cream.
  3. Go explore and center yourself in the labyrinth.
  4. Enjoy one of ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ’s nationally celebrated performing arts or music program. (Check the schedule at elon.edu/culturalcalendar.)
  5. Experience Rhodes Stadium.
  6. Explore the 1.25-mile tree trail that is part of the ÂÒÂ×ÊÓƵ Botanical Garden. (Trees are identified with numbered plaques.)
  7. Take a photo at Fonville Fountain.
  8. Grab the best coffee in town at the Oak House.
  9. Connect with the Student Professional Development Center to learn about corporate partners internships.
